April 2018 Tours with Special Guest Announced!

February 19th, 2018|

We’re happy to announce several tour opportunities that will take place over the weekend of Friday, April 13th, 2018 with a very special guest – Adrienne King!

In order to relieve the stress of the ticketing process for our fans, we will be moving to a simple lottery system for these tours.  For a chance at a ticket, please browse to the tickets page and complete the entry form.  Names will be randomly chosen and ticket invitations will be sent via email starting on March 5th, 2018.  If your name is selected, you’ll have 24 hours to complete your ticket purchase before the invitation expires and is offered to the next randomly chosen name.

In addition to the regular tours, there will be two VIP experiences available via a ticket auction.  A limited number of VIP guests will take the regular tour and then continue on an overnight experience at the camp with some exclusive morning activities with our special guest.  This will truly be a once-in-a-lifetime experience for hardcore F13 fans.  To learn more, please browse to our VIP page and place your bid for a VIP ticket by 11:59PM EST on February, 27th, 2018.  Ticket invitations will be sent to winning bidders after the bidding closes.  You’ll have 24 hours to complete your ticket purchase before the invitation expires and is offered to the next winning bidder.

As always, thanks for your interest in our public tours and your generosity in purchasing a ticket.  Unfortunately, the demand for these tickets will far outweigh the supply.  If you are not able to get a ticket, we hope that you can join us in the future.  Please stay tuned to our mailing list for future tour opportunities.

After selling out within seconds, the third ever public tour of the primary filming location of Friday the 13th, Part 1 took place on Friday, November 13th, 2015. The autumn winds were howling, but it was an otherwise perfect day with the sun shining.  This was by far the largest tour and once again a great group of fans.  “Campers” came from at least 7 different states including California and Florida!

We had also arranged for a private screening of the movie following the tour at Roy’s Hall (the historic theater in Blairstown shown in the movie). A huge THANK YOU goes out to Mark and everyone else at the theater for getting the facility (which has been closed for many months) ready in a very short period of time. Roy’s Hall is preparing for a grand opening in the spring of 2016 – we’re glad we could help and we encourage everyone to support this great theater!

The second-ever public tour of the primary filming location of Friday the 13th, Part 1 took place on Friday, September 13th, 2013. It was another beautiful, sunny day at Camp No-Be-Bo-Sco – similar to the day of the first tour. An intense line of thunderstorms had passed through the area the night before and knocked out power to much of the area, but that wasn’t going to stop us from making dreams come true – after all, three of our guests were coming from as far away as California, Ontario and Norway! We quickly found a vendor to deliver porta-potties on short notice, cooked lunch in a dark kitchen and prepared the tour locations for some great photo opportunities.

Everything else that day went very smooth and our guests all left with smiles on their faces (and of course the power came back on while the last guests were leaving!). We hope everyone got back home safe and we hope you’ll be able to join us again in the future.

This tour initially sold out in 8 minutes and many people found out about it days later since they didn’t use their main email address.
